Sobetsu is famous for its mild winters, but nevertheless the town has an own ski ground in the mountain side near Orofure Mountain Pass, about 20 minutes from the town's center. Compared to other ski grounds in Hokkaido, the Orofure Ski Ground "Orofure Resort" is much smaller, which is great if you are a beginner or want to ski with your whole family.
Southpaw is the only yakiniku restaurant in Sobetsu-cho. We offer a wide variety of menus in terms of quality and variety because it is directly managed by a butcher shop.
