Sobetsu offers beautiful places and trails to hike on! Recommended are especially the hiking trail to Mount Orofure, the walking trail on Nakajima island (Lake Toya), the Usu Volcano South Rim Hiking Trail (best accessible by taking the Usu Ropeway to the top), and the Geopark hiking trails (see details below).
