Open-air museum that is laid out around Lake Toya and showing 58 sculptures made by famous Japanese sculptur artists (18 sculpturs are to be found in the Sobetsu area). Lake Toya and its surrounding nature are becoming the stage for this open-air museum All in all you can find 58 sculpturs placed along the approx. 52km shore of Lake Toya. The material of the sculpturs vary between stone, bronze and stainless metal, some of them seem almost melt into their environment.
